Bagel brand B Bagel has revealed plans to operate 20 sites by 2030, trebling its current portfolio.

The company will open its seventh site in the capital later this month, on New Oxford Street, as part of its expansion plans.

The new site, which opens on 27 October, is inspired by B Bagel’s The Strand venue, which opened in 2024. It will also contain elements of the company’s brand evolution project, which is set to go live in the second quarter of 2026.

In addition, Nicholas Brown has joined as operations director from The Wonderfield Group at the start of the month and will help drive B Bagel towards its expansion target having also had experience in the casual dining and quick service space with brands including YO! Sushi, Wimpy and Domino’s

“It’s a big month for B Bagel with the opening of another site and Nicholas joining the team. Nicholas brings some great experience and is a significant hire for the business, showing our intent to continue to grow. I know he will be key in working with me and the team to shape this next phase,” says founder Yoav Baumgarten.

“Our New Oxford Street store comes at a key time with Christmas just around the corner and I know our team there will be excited to bring even more Londoners our freshly baked bagels with a sprinkling of festive spirit on top.”

B Bagel operates London sites in Soho, Tottenham Court Road, The Strand, Chelsea, Highgate, and Camden. Its menu includes ‘iconic’ bagels such as smoked salmon and cream cheese; egg mayo; coronation chicken; and salt beef as well as house specials such as New Orleans spiced buttermilk chicken, hot mayo and pickles; a Reuben; tuna melt; roasted turkey breast with coleslaw and mustard mayo; and pastrami.
