Nominations are now open, with restaurant owners and managers across the country being encouraged to champion their hard working and deserving team members.
Those nominated will be independently judged, with successful individuals picked to be part of the NRA Rising Stars ‘Class of 2026’, which will be unveiled in February next year.
The NRA Rising Stars launched earlier this year with a celebratory lunch at Cafe Francois that recognised 24 chefs, sommeliers, restaurateurs, and front of house people from restaurants across the UK.
Three special individual category awards were also handed out on the day. The overall winner in the Rising Star sommelier category was Hannah Cripps, who oversees the wine offer at Canary Wharf restaurant Roe, while Rising Star in the chef category was Lulu Perry, from two Michelin-starred restaurant A Wong. Freddie Clarke from 18 Restaurant at Rusacks St Andrews won the front of house award.
All new Rising Stars for 2026 will receive a trophy to mark their inclusion and are invited to next year’s National Restaurant Awards.
If you have someone in your team who you believe deserves industry recognition, please put them forward by clicking on this link and filling in a short form telling us about them and why they should be part of the NRA Rising Stars ‘Class of 2026’.
