Located in a former Pitcher & Piano on Bridge Street overlooking the Thames, Tower House will take its inspiration from the Mediterranean and will be “rooted in a spirit of warmth and relaxed intimacy”.
Theo Hill, the executive chef at Gold Notting Hill and now Tower House, has penned a menu which is described as being spontaneous and full of joyful flavour.
“We simply wish to show as much consideration as we possibly can towards the best produce available. The aim is always to cook with fire in an unforced and harmonious way, which allows the ingredients to speak for themselves,” Hill says.
Menu details are limited, but options will include chargrilled vegetables, hand-rolled pasta and wood-roasted meats.
Inside Tower House, guests will find heirloom collectables and crafted objects, all “articulating a love of soulful imperfection”.
Outside, the elevated riverside garden will offer sweeping views of a tree-lined curve of the Thames, framed by both Richmond Bridge and Twickenham Bridge.
Launched by a team led by Nick House in 2019, Gold Notting Hill is housed within what was one of Portobello Road’s best known pubs.
The four-storey, multi-faceted space offers a largely Italian menu.
