Florence-inspired gourmet sandwich business Dal Fiorentino has chosen Holborn for its fourth London site.

Its largest location yet, the site has space seats 35 and is located close to Chancery Lane station within Viaro House.

Launched by husband and wife team Andrei-Valentin Bazavan and Cristina Affortunati in 2022, Dal Fiorentino operates sites in Fitzrovia, Brick Lane and Hoxton.

The concept majors on sandwiches made with schiacciata bread, which is thin and crunchy on the outside and soft inside and synonymous with Tuscany and Umbria and widely available throughout Florence.

Made fresh each day, options include the Machiavelli with Tuscan pancetta, stracciatella cheese, nduja cream, grilled courgettes; the Da Vinci with mortadella, whole burrata, pistachio pesto, extra virgin olive oil; and the eponymous La Fiorentina with fennel salami, pecorino cheese, truffle honey, extra virgin olive oil.

Dal Fiorentino Holborn has a standalone coffee counter and offers charcuterie boards between 12pm and 8pm alongside a succinct wine and beer list.
