Food line-up for Market Place Leicester Square revealed

Brands including Bread Ahead, Butchies, Club Mexicana, and Duck Shed have been confirmed to be among the vendors in the starting line-up at Market Place Leicester Square.

Launching on 11 December, Market Place Leicester Square will open in the five-storey building beside the Odeon cinema in the building that was once home to Black & White Hospitality’s flagship Mr White’s and will host established brands as well as some newer options.

Bread Ahead will be bringing its viral crème brûlée doughnut and sourdough pizzas to the venue, along with fried chicken brand Butchies; vegan Mexican street food brand Club Mexicana; and Duck Shed, which serves wraps, burgers and salads built around slow-roasted pulled duck.

Joining them at the venue will be Asian inspired fusion street food and sushi operator Inamo Sukoshi; Yorkshire Burritos; Cheeky Burger; Hide and Greek; Caribbean brand Hot Scotch; and lobster roll specialist Molo.

Also based at the food hall will be Mister Lasagna, that will serve more than 20 lasagna varieties including meat, vegan and veggie options; Soft Serve Society; Thai House; Crumble Mania; and Strip Steak.

Market Place Food Hall Leicester will also include three bars and to complete the package, entertainment such as comedy nights, live music and DJ nights.

“Leicester Square has always been at the heart of London’s excitement and energy, and now we’re bringing food and flavour into the mix too,” says Blake Henderson, managing director at Market Place Food Halls.

“We’ve brought together the very best food vendors from viral street food sensations to Michelin-trained chefs so everyone can find something that keeps them coming back for more.”

The new addition will be the seventh site for Market Place, which already has locations across London at St Pauls, Vauxhall, Harrow, Peckham and Baker Street as well as a site in Manchester.
