The deal, which will be available throughout January and February, was shared via Instagram, offering a gesture of appreciation to hospitality workers following the intense Christmas period.
The discount applies to lunch and dinner every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday until the end of February, with no restrictions on table size and no exclusions on supplements.
In a message directed at industry colleagues, Handling says: “It’s such a privilege to be a part of this industry, to see how hard we all work.”
He acknowledged the high demands of the December service and encouraged hospitality professionals to “slow down, look back and reflect” after one of the busiest periods of the year.
As an additional incentive, the first two tables to book will dine free of charge, with their entire experience covered by the restaurant.
Reservations must be made directly via email rather than through online booking platforms, and proof of hospitality employment is required.
Handling is not the first to offer concessions to those in the industry. Dorian restaurant in Notting Hill is well known for looking after hospitality professionals and currently offers them 50% off food for every Monday and Wednesday lunchtime.
The scheme was institutionalised on an indefinite basis in January 2025, with the restaurant stating in an Instagram post that the offer would be available ‘Monday and Tuesday lunches until forever.’
