The steak-focused restaurant group will open a site on Glasgow’s West George Street in 2027.
The two-floor, 120-cover restaurant will be located within a historic four-storey early Renaissance building and will take ‘subtle cues from the layered history of the building’, as well as Glasgow School of Art in its design.
The launch will bring the group’s estate to 22 sites and see it further expand beyond its London heartland.
Recent regional openings have included in Bristol, Brighton and Newcastle, currently the group’s most northerly site.
“We’ve been serving beef from Scotland since the early days of Flat Iron,” says Flat Iron’s head of beef Fred Smith.
“Opening a restaurant here is a proud moment for us. Our passion for high-quality, accessible steak is at the forefront of everything we do, and we are looking forward to sharing this with guests in Glasgow.”
