Described as marking a significant evolution for the brand, the flagship Tottenham Court Road site will introduce new menu formats and portion sizes, designed to cater for evolving trends around how, when and what consumers are eating today.
The new food offer, developed by Honi Poke’s head of food, Richard de la Cruz - formerly development chef at COYA London and Arros QD - will include a hot food range, grab-and-go options and revised portion sizes in response to what the company says is shifting consumer demand for greater flexibility in how and when they engage with quick-service dining.
New to the menu will be warm bowls such as katsu chicken; and miso salmon, alongside a range of hot sides including chicken skewers, pumpkin croquettes and gyozas. The Fitzrovia site will also debut a new grab-and-go range, featuring ready-made salads and freshly prepared sushi sets, facilitating faster service in high-footfall sites.
The new site will also introduce updated bowl sizes, with small and regular options to reflect growing demand for smaller portions, and lighter meals, says Honi Poke.

“Fitzrovia is a landmark opening for Honi Poke, marking the first time the brand’s broader vision has come to life in full,” says Hilary Brett, Honi Poke CEO.
“The new menu brings more variety and flexibility, with customisable bowl sizes so customers can mix, match, and scale their favourites to suit their appetite and dietary needs.
“Alongside this, an expanded line-up of hot sides, salads and sushi adds a fresh, feel-good dimension - offering balanced options that work just as well for a quick lunch as they do for a more satisfying, better-for-you dinner.”
Honi Poke operates 27 restaurants across the UK, predominantly in London. Last year it bought rival chain Island Poké, adding 18 sites to its portfolio split evenly between London and France.
The Fitzrovia site will open on 9 April.
