NIJŪ opened on Mayfair’s Berkeley Street in 2024 on a site that was formerly Creative Restaurant Group’s short-lived 20 Berkeley restaurant and specialises in Katei Ryori, home-cooked Japanese food.
It is understood that DMIG plans to expand the concept with future sites in the pipeline.
“After several years of our team’s dedication and hard work building the NIJŪ brand as part of Creative Restaurant Group, we are delighted to announce that it has been purchased by major advocates DMIG, who plan to expand the concept,” says Milena Floyd, managing director at Creative Restaurant Group.
“I’m very proud of my team for leading NIJŪ’s growth and look forward to seeing how they evolve in the future.”
Creative Restaurant Group will continue to operate its London restaurants Sumi, Endo at Rotunda, which is currently closed fro refurbishment following a fire, and Kioku by Endo as well as its most recent launched IGNI in Mayfair.
