Market Halls is expanding the competitive socialising Games Hall concept it launched at the end of last year.

The food hall operator will expand the existing Games Hall offer at Oxford Circus as well as roll out the concept to its Canary Wharf venue in early June.

Oxford Circus will expand to offer mini golf, shuffleboard, basketball, pool, darts, air hockey and other retro arcade Games. Market Halls Canary Wharf will be introducing darts, shuffleboard and pool.

The expansion reflects a wider shift within the hospitality sector towards ‘eatertainment’, according to Market Hall, and drives longer dwell times and repeat visits.

Market Halls trialed the Games Hall concept at Market Halls Oxford Circus in late 2025 and says the popularity of the offer has proven the need to expand its guest experiences further.

“We have been extremely encouraged by the popularity of our Games Hall offering at Market Halls Oxford Circus and have carefully reviewed and curated the offering to make sure it is perfectly suited to that venue,” says Dan Hills, Market Halls CEO.

“Canary Wharf is the ideal next location to expand our Games Hall concept, given its strong weekday office population and rapidly growing residential and weekend audience.

“We’re creating a destination that brings people together beyond traditional dining.”

New food vendors joining Market Halls this summer have also been revealed. They include PATOIS, a Jamaican fusion kitchen led by Peckham-based chef Nikkai Whyte, at Canary Wharf, Prep La Crêpe at Oxford Circus, and Japanese brand Takusan at Victoria.

In the run up to June, Market Halls is also introducing a range of World Cup viewing packages.
