The restaurant group, which operates a number of London restaurants including Los Mochis, Sale e Pepe and recently launched Mayfair restaurant MA/NA, was recently named as one of the UK’s 100 fastest growing businesses by The Sunday Times in its 2026 list, the only luxury restaurant operator to feature.
It says its turnover represents a three-year compound annual growth rate of 58.53% from a base of £9.5m in 2022 and is projecting turnover to reach £64.7m for 2026. It has also committed to creating 350 new jobs over the next 12 months.
Thesleff Group is led by founder Markus Thesleff and opened two new restaurants in the London this year - Sale e Pepe Mare at The Langham, and MA/NA in Mayfair.

The group has set its sights on international growth and is due to open a Los Mochis restaurant in Beverly Hills (pictured above), with further US venues to be announced shortly. Speaking to Restaurant last year, Thesleff said the group had $40m to $50m of overseas investment lined up.
“We are honoured to be amongst so many incredible entrepreneurs and founders. Hospitality is often underestimated in the UK, but we see it differently. We believe we’re in the entertainment business as much as the hospitality business,” Thesleff says of the results.
“Today, time is the ultimate luxury, and people are increasingly selective about where they choose to spend it.
“Since launching the group less than five years ago, we’ve focused on creating experiences, not just restaurants. Every concept is built around a strong point of view, exceptional quality and a sense of theatre that gives people a reason to return.
Being recognised alongside some of the UK’s most ambitious businesses is a reflection of the incredible team behind the brand. We’re still at the beginning of what we want to achieve, and our ambition remains as big as ever.”
