Georgie and Sam Pearman will step down from their roles as directors and co-chairs of Cubitt House Pubs following its recent acquisition by Young’s.

The Pearmans joined the business in 2021 and have helped grow Cubitt House across the capital with a portfolio of neighbourhood pubs.

Under the Pearmans’ leadership, the group expanded from four to eight pubs, with the addition of The Builder’s Arms in Chelsea, The Princess Royal in Notting Hill — both enhanced with bedrooms — and The Barley Mow.

Most recently, they acquired The Duke of Connaught, a 10-bedroom pub with dining rooms in Belgravia, which is due to open in 2027.

“We are incredibly proud of what the extraordinary Cubitt House team has achieved over the last four years,” they say.

“We have been fortunate to work alongside such talented people and are delighted to leave the business in a strong position for future growth under its new ownership.”

They couple now focus on continuing to grow Country Creatures, which operates several Cotswolds properties including The Double Red Duke, The Mason’s Arms and the newly opened Wild Duck Inn.
