The fried chicken brand has opened a 130-cover restaurant at Heathrow Terminal 3 airside, with further expansion on the cards.
The opening follows TRGC’s appointment as Boparan Restaurant Group’s preferred partner for UK airport openings under a new long-term development agreement.
“As Boparan’s preferred partner for UK airport openings, this launch represents an important milestone in our growing relationship and reflects our shared ambition to bring differentiated, high-quality dining concepts to major travel hubs,” says Jonathan Knight, TRGC CEO.
“With more openings in the pipeline, we’re excited about the opportunity to continue grow innovative brands within the travel sector.”

Boparan Group operates more than 80 Slim Chickens venues across the UK. Last year, the group said it plans to open 50 new Slim Chickens sites in 2026, including three new drive-thrus opened earlier this year.
“The opening of Slim Chickens at Heathrow Terminal 3 is a huge milestone for the brand as our first airport location in the UK and the third across Europe,” says Richard Pigott, managing director at Slim Chickens UK.
“Heathrow is one of the busiest airports in the world, making it the perfect place to introduce even more customers to our fresh, hand-breaded, cooked-to-order chicken.
“This opening also reflects the continued strength of the relationship between TRG Franchise and BRG, building on our existing partnerships across other BRG brands and extending that success into Slim Chickens.”
