The high-end Chinese restaurant held its final service in its current guise last week,
In an Instagram post the restaurant said it was at the start of ‘a new chapter’.
“We have closed our doors to renew the magic within - carrying with us the gratitude of a thousand evenings of a thousand evenings in your company.”
It is understood the restaurant will relaunch in September.
Park Chinois was founded by restaurateur Alan Yau in 2015 and is known for its opulent décor, refined Chinese food, and live music entertainment. It was acquired out of administration by Le Soleil Enterprises and Izamaiyah for £200,000 last summer.
Following its sale, administrators said Park Chinois experienced ‘significant trading disruption’ during the Covid-19 pandemic with its performance further impacted more recently by rising labour and operating costs, as well as strong competition in the local market.
