The rebrand brings the company’s recruitment business together with its media, events and marketplace operations under a single identity.
Effective as from today (1 September), the move is also intended to place the company’s free, independent technology advisory service at the centre of its offer to hospitality operators.
Stacked says any hospitality business looking to modernise its operations can access the service at no cost, whether it is choosing a point-of-sale system, exploring the potential of AI or seeking guidance on where to begin.
“Companies evolve, and this feels like the right next step for us,” says founder Chris Fletcher.
“We kept finding ourselves explaining what Tech on Toast actually meant, especially to operators who just wanted to know we could help them modernise for free.
“Stacked gives us one name that can grow with the business and brings recruitment and Tech on Toast together as the single operation they have really always been. But the mission hasn’t changed: we want every hospitality business, whatever its size, to have somewhere independent to turn when it is trying to digitise.”
The company says consolidating its operations will simplify its offer to operators, technology vendors and partners. It also believes the Stacked name will be easier to introduce as the business enters new markets.
The company’s podcast, marketplace, events and recruitment operations will all adopt the Stacked name, while its website and email addresses will move to the wearestacked.io domain.
Its registered company name will become Stacked Technologies Limited.
Existing contacts, marketplace listings, leads and partner agreements will remain unchanged.
The podcast will continue on its existing feed under its new name and artwork, while links to the former website will redirect to the new domain.
