Milena Floyd named as chief executive officer at Creative Restaurant Group

Creative Restaurant Group (CRG) has promoted Milena Floyd to managing director

Milena Floyd has been promoted to chief executive officer at Creative Restaurant Group (CRG).

Floyd, who was previously managing director at the restaurant group, will continue to lead CRG’s day-to-day business while taking greater responsibility for the group’s overall strategy, development and future growth.

Over the past year, CRG says it has entered an exciting period of growth and transformation. The group operates sushi restaurant SUMI in Notting Hill, Japanese grill and sushi bar NIJU, Kioku by Endo at The OWO, and the newly-opened IGNI, which is headed up chef Theo Clench.

It will also soon open ENDO and Moga with chef Endo Kazutoshi within the two-storey Chelsea townhouse that was formerly home to the Michelin-starred restaurant Five Fields. The ground floor space will be home to ENDO, an intimate 10-seat omakase restaurant ‘rooted in Japanese tradition and meticulous craftsmanship’, while upstairs, Moga will be a listening bar inspired by Japan’s embrace of modernity and Western influence throughout the 20th century.

Floyd joined CRG as head of operations in August 2023 and was promoted to operations director in July 2024. She was named managing director at the company in July last year.

Prior to joining CRG, she spent five years with Orange Brands Management, which owns the SushiSamba and Duck & Waffle brands, in various operation, management and training roles. Before that she worked for nearly four years at steakhouse group Gaucho, initially as GM before being promoted to managing partner.

“Milena has demonstrated exceptional leadership, determination and commitment to our people, our restaurants and the future of the group,” says CRG.

“We are incredibly proud to see her take this well-deserved next step and look forward to continuing to build CRG’s future under her leadership.”
