Called Brickworks Market Hall, the 250-cover venue will be home to five independent Manchester brands and two bars when it opens on 4 October.
Nell’s Pizza, which serves New York-style pizzas across its six Manchester sites, Good Burger and ramen brand Joji have been confirmed as being part of the line-up with a ‘dessert station’, and also a pie offering expected to be announced soon.
Brickworks Market Hall is part of the Medlock Square development, which is home to restaurants including British brasserie Three Rivers, located within The Medlock hotel, and British restaurant Little Beast, that are both overseen by MasterChef winner Dan Merriman, and Zadie’s a pan-Asian restaurant led by Laura Montana, director of restaurants at Medlock Restaurants, and head chef Paolo Bianchi, formerly of Zuma, Alain Ducasse, and Lucky Cat, which opened yesterday (23 September).
“Food and drink is a central component of the Medlock Square experience,” says Montana. “We’ve created a collection of distinct concepts that together form a comprehensive offer for Manchester.”
