The group says the increase was aided by aided by a ‘strong performance’ at its 22 Bishopsgate restaurants in the City of London, which launched in 2025 and encompassed several concepts including the Asian-inspired Lucky Cat and fine dining format Restaurant Gordon Ramsay HIGH.
EBITDA for GRR stood at £8.5m, up 4% from £8.2m in FY24, driven by strong management of cost base and growth of new revenue streams.
GRR adds that while it is showing an operating loss of £5.8m for the year, the business continues to be cash and EBITDA generative.
It comes as Ramsay’s wider international business, Gordon Ramsay Restaurants Global Limited (GRRG), reports revenue up to £151.8m with EBITDA of £14.4m, the latter up 12% on the previous year.
The group says 2025 marked the completion of the merger of its North American and UK Gordon Ramsay Restaurants businesses into one global group, GRRG in partnership with Lion Capital, which had previously invested in the group’s North American business to support its growth.
Internationally, the group continued to expand its presence through a combination of owned restaurants and licensing partnerships with a focus on gaining further traction in the US market.
The group also delivered launches of Gordon Ramsay Steak in Vancouver, Hell’s Kitchen in Ibiza, and further restaurants openings across the Middle East and Asia.
Commenting on the results, Andy Wenlock, CEO of Gordon Ramsay Restaurants, says: “It has been an incredible year for the business and its testament to the dedication of the whole team to make it such a success.
“While 22 Bishopsgate has been the star performer, with five restaurant experiences in one venue, the strength of the performance of the group as a whole has been phenomenal, with openings across new and existing markets and a relentless focus on the guest experience throughout the brand portfolio.
“Coupled with our expansion drive has been a commitment to improving underlying profitability, resulting in record EBITDA for the group and UK businesses.”
New openings drive growth
The group adds that strong performance across new openings and continued international expansion has carried positive momentum into 2026.
Expansion has continued with new openings including the group’s 100 restaurant, Bread Street Kitchen & Bar at Bishopsgate, in May 2026, as well as Hell’s Kitchen London, Gordon Ramsay Academy Riyadh, and new licensed locations across Europe, Asia, and North America.
“We have entered FY26 with strong momentum and clear priorities: continuing to improve earnings and cash generation, maintaining disciplined investment in our owned estate, and accelerating international growth through experienced partners,” Wenlock continues.
“With our 100 restaurant now open and a strong international pipeline, we see significant potential for the next stage of Gordon Ramsay Restaurants’ growth.”
