The Adam Handling Collection has announced two senior team appointments with Nicola Gartenberg promoted to managing director and Kyle Lewis joining as executive chef.

The appointments are ahead of what the restaurant groups says will be its most ambitious growth period over the next couple of years.

Gartenberg has been with the business for over nine years, progressing from operations coordinator to executive director in 2021, when she was appointed to the board. During this time, she has helped navigate the business through significant periods of change and played a key role in the development of its restaurants, including Frog and Ugly Butterfly, both of which have gone on to earn one Michelin star.

In her new role she will focus on the growth plans the company has for 2027 and 2028.

“I’m incredibly proud to be part of the Adam Handling Collection and excited about what lies ahead,” she says.

“I’m committed to continuing to build on what we’ve achieved so far, supporting the team and helping the business grow. We have some exciting plans for the future, and I’m looking forward to working closely with Adam and the wider team to take the collection into its next chapter.”

Lewis recently joined the group as executive chef having previously held the position of head chef at the recently opened Gordon Ramsay Hell’s Kitchen at The Cumberland. His wider career includes experience with Gordon Ramsay Restaurants, at New York’s three-Michelin-starred Per Se, and at The Savoy.

“Kyle’s appointment is an important step for the business as we look ahead to an exciting period of growth,” says Adam Handling, chef owner at the Adam Handling Collection.

“His experience will be a real asset to the team as we continue to develop our kitchens and food offering across the Collection. We have some really exciting plans ahead, and I know Nicola and Kyle will both play important roles in taking the business forward.”
