Berkshire-based The Coppa Club is set to open its first site in London this month.

The club, opened by investor Hugh Osmond in Sonning last year, will open its second site at Lower Thames Street, near Tower Bridge on Monday (30 May).

As with its sister site, the 260-cover London Coppa Club will offer guests an all-day dining and drinking space. The business will operate with no membership fee, dress code or rules.

Coppa Club managing director Tiffany Renwick said: "We opened our first site on the river at Sonning really to gauge what people thought of the concept and we’re thrilled and a bit stunned at how well it’s taken off. So, now we’re ready to launch in London and we hope we’ll be just as popular with Londoners who want somewhere to call their own, without having to pay a joining fee, or go through a complex admission process.

"We’re not re-inventing the wheel with Coppa Club. There are great restaurants, bars, coffee shops and work spaces all over the city, but what Coppa does is put a great restaurant, a great bar, a great coffee shop and a great work space all under one roof”.

Coppa Club will open from 7.30am Monday to Friday and from 9am at weekends, serving breakfast, lunch, dinner, drinks and snacks throughout the day. The 'relaxed' menu will include breakfasts of pancakes, smashed avocado and poached eggs, sharing and small plates such as seared king prawns and main dishes such as kale detox salad with labneh, crab linguine and trout on the plancha.

Coffee and a selection of alcoholic drinks will also be served throughout the day.
