Mission Mars takes on Liverpool's Hub Alehouse & Kitchen

The 170-cover restaurant, which occupies the ground and lower ground floors of the Grade II listed Casartelli Building in the city centre, will join Mission’s line-up as the 12th property in its estate and mark the company’s second venue within the city of Liverpool. Mission Mars owns and operates live music venues, bars, pubs and restaurants throughout Manchester and Liverpool, including the hugely popular Albert’s Schloss ‘cook house and bier palace’ in Manchester and Neapolitan pizza brand Rudy’s in Manchester and Liverpool. Rudy’s was launched in Ancoats in 2015 by Jim Morgan and Kate Wilson and is now backed by Mission Mars. Its pub portfolio includes The Elephant, Liberty Tavern, The Viking and Trof NQ. “We’re delighted to have brokered an agreement with Mission Mars and we’re confident that the business will prove to be a successful addition to their growing portfolio,” says Tom O’Malley, senior business agent at property company Christie & Co, which handled the sale. “This deal stands as testament to the demand for high quality bars and restaurants in key city centres throughout the North West, as well as to the appetite of both regional and national purchasers.”
