Healthy fast food chain Leon is to launch its own ‘unlimited’ coffee offer in an apparent bid to help entice back workers returning to the office.

The offer says it will give customers 'unlimited' coffee at a cost of £15 for a 30-day period, although according to the terms and conditions the total redemption will be limited to 75 coffees across the period.

Customers can purchase the offer online, which will release a unique code for you that can be used to order coffee at 'any Leon restaurant'.

However, it can only be used via purchases on Leon’s click and collect service, Smart Order; it will not be redeemable at kiosks or tills.

At the end of 30 days, any unredeemed coffees will no longer be available.

Leon said the offer was for 'as many coffees as you can drink - or carry'.

Announcing the offer on Twitter yesterday (8 September), Leon said: “You read it right. We’re offering you 30 days of unlimited coffee for £15.

“All you’ve got to do is follow the link and buy it tonight to make tomorrow’s morning commute just a little bit brighter.”

The announcement comes less than a week after fellow high street grab-and-go operator Pret A Manger launched its own coffee subscription service as part of a strategy to attract more customers post lockdown.

Called YourPret Barista, the service offers customers up to five drinks per day – including all coffee products, teas, hot chocolates, smoothies and frappes - for a fixed monthly price of £20, with the first month being offered for free to all subscribers as part of the national launch.

Customers can subscribe online with the subscription loaded onto their Apple or Google digital wallets or accessed via emailed QR codes.
