The Danish bakery and coffee house will open at 141 Cheapside, with 32 covers inside and eight outside. The site will offer the brand’s all-day menu, alongside two self-service kiosks and digital menu boards.
The opening follows what the brand describes as a record year for the business, which reported turnover of £40.2m in 2025, up £3.5m year on year. Like-for-like sales increased 10.3%, while customer numbers grew 7.1%.
“We are really excited to continue our growth journey after the customer growth we saw in 2025, where more people choose our bakeries helping us deliver record turnover of more than £40 million," says Ole & Steen managing director Graham Hollinshead.
“That performance reflects the strength of our bakery, coffee and guest experience, as well as the dedication of our teams across the business.
“As we celebrate 35 years of baking and 10 years since opening our first bakery in London, the launch of our new St Paul’s bakery marks an exciting next chapter for the brand.
“Opening in the heart of the City is a fitting way to celebrate these milestones while continuing to bring our Danish baking traditions to new London communities.”
Founded in Denmark in 1991, Ole & Steen opened its first UK site in St James in 2016.
