Rosa’s Thai to make Wales debut
Rosa’s Thai will open its first restaurant in Wales early next month.

Located on Cardiff’s Church Street, the 76-cover site will bring the Thai restaurant group up to 26 restaurants.

The majority of its restaurants are in London but Rosa’s Thai also operates sites in Leeds, Manchester, Birmingham and Liverpool.

The TriSpan-backed group recently launched a wok chef training school to support its expansion drive.

Rosa’s Thai first opened in London’s Spitalfields in 2008 under Thai chef Saiphin Moore and her entrepreneur husband Alex.

Key menu items include familiar Thai dishes such as  drunken noodles,  massaman curry, red curry with pineapple and stir-fried aubergine with yellow bean sauce, chilli, soy sauce and sweet basil.

“Opening in Cardiff is something we’ve been wanting to do for some time now, so we’re delighted to have finally found the perfect site to showcase Saiphin’s fantastic recipes,” says CEO Gavin Adair.
