Excitement brews for The London Coffee Festival 2024
Organised by Restaurant publisher William Reed, the leading coffee sector trade show takes next month at East London's The Trueman Brewery (industry days 11-12 April).
Its main stage The Lab, sponsored by Lavazza, will see industry influencers discuss key trends in the coffee space.
Headline interviews include Ryan Garrick of WatchHouse, Marta Pogroszewska of GAIL’s, Ignacio Llado of Blank Street, Lizzie Gurr of Ozone Coffee and Huw Wardrope of Urban Baristas.
Major suppliers taking to the stage include Lavazza, La Marzocco, Fiorenzato and Gruppo Cimbali.
Other sessions include Ones to watch in 2024; Women in coffee: Inspiring leaders showing the way; and Coffee culture: The changing needs of consumers and the impact on coffee menus.
Latte Art Live will once again be hosted by Joey Jackson, who will be joined by some of the country's most skilled baristas, showcasing their latte art skills.
The event also features a 'revitalised' Coffee Masters – the competition that sees sixteen globally recognised baristas go head-to-head across a range of disciplines to see who will be crowned Coffee Masters champion for 2024.
"We are taking the competition back to its roots, with a new layout at the show that compliments the skills of the baristas, giving them the best opportunity to show their skills," a spokesperson says. "With the brilliant James Wise supporting us, this is not one to miss in 2024!
