Original Pachamama site to make way for new Italian concept

Pachamama Group’s flagship Pachamama Bar + Kitchen restaurant in Marylebone will close at the end of the year to make way for a new as-yet unnamed Italian concept. Early next year, the Peruvian-inspired restaurant will ‘relocate’ to the group’s Pachamama East restaurant in Shoreditch creating a new restaurant called Pachamama (East) that will ‘house the best of both’.

Billed as the group’s new flagship, Pachamama (East) will have a design that references the original Pachamama Bar + Kitchen, which celebrated its 10th birthday earlier this year.

The menu at the Great Eastern Street restaurant will include caramelised aubergine; duck on rice; black cod aguadito; and a wagyu smash burger.

2025 will also see Pachamama Group launch a restaurant in Bayswater.

In the former Whiteleys shopping centre, Effie will serve a menu inspired by the Aegean coast with a focus on traditional cooking techniques.

The two launches will bring the group – which is owned by Rustambek Narzibekov - up to a total of six locations.
