Trullo heads west with three-month Harvey Nichols residency

Highly-rated Islington restaurant Trullo will launch a three-month residency at Knightsbridge department store Harvey Nichols early next month.

Highly-rated Islington restaurant Trullo will launch a three-month residency at Knightsbridge department store Harvey Nichols early next month.

Created by chef owner Conor Gadd, the menu will be built around Trullo’s core of regional Italian dishes with options including chopped beef fillet with rosemary and anchovy; grilled asparagus with butter and bottarga; beef shin ragu; and pici cacio e pepe.

In keeping with the new location, there will be some more luxe options including tagliarini with Beluga caviar; and grilled Dover sole with Palourde clams and Datterini tomatoes.

Wine buyer Will Amherst (pictured above) has put together a list of wines from all over Italy, including Trullo’s own label Gavi and Chianti which will also be available for purchase from Harvey Nichols.

Taking place on the department store’s fifth floor, the residency will coincide with Trullo closing for a week in early March for some refurbishments.

Founded in 2010 by Tim Siadatan and Jordan Frieda, Trullo is among London’s most highly-rated Italian restaurants and has featured on Restaurant’s list of the top 100 restaurants in the UK.

The daily-changing menu is billed as a celebration of Italian-inspired cuisine with a focus on simplicity and seasonality.

Trullo’s residency at Harvey Nichols begins on 3 March.
