Claude and Lucy Bosi will open a second Josephine in London later this month following the success of their inaugural site in Fulham.

In Marylebone, the restaurant will be open from breakfast through to dinner seven days a week.

It won’t be a carbon copy of the Fulham original - which was inspired by the bouchons of Claude’s hometown of Lyon - instead celebrating the ‘elegance of 19th-century Parisian brasserie culture’.

On Blandford Street, Josephine Marylebone will also have a 16-seater al fresco dining area called La Terrasse, which will ‘embrace the lively spirit of boulevardier culture’.

Dishes will include soufflé au Camembert; pâté en croûte; poulet aux morilles; and soufflé glacé au Grand Marnier.

Named after Claude’s grandmother, the original Josephine launched in 2023 on the corner of Callow Street and Fulham Road.

The opening will bring the French chef up to a total of five London restaurants joining the original Josephine, Claude Bosi at Bibendum, Brooklands and Claude Bosi’s Oyster Bar.
