The venture replaces Tipan Tapan, though the Nepali street food brand continues to trade across the river within Arcade Food Hall Battersea Power Station.
The opening takes Gracey’s to a total of three locations, joining James and Grace Surman’s flagship Gracey’s restaurant in St Albans.
Launched during Covid as a mobile pizza operation, Gracey’s says it “channels the soul of New York slices and the legendary New Haven pie scene”, celebrating classic East Coast style “with its own playful twists”.
Signature menu items include the NY Cheese; the Smokey Ron, featuring smokey pepperoni and Parmesan; and the Grandma Square Pie with plum tomato sauce, shaved garlic, chilli, oregano and fresh basil.
Speaking about the new location, Grace and James said: “We’ve been perfecting our slices ever since we popped up with ArcadeX this summer at Battersea Power Station. Countless hours have gone into getting the dough just right and nailing those topping ratios.
“We’ve even woven a little slice of our original St Albans shop into the interior design, so the space feels like home from the moment you walk in. It’s an exciting leap from St Albans, and opening a restaurant at the iconic Centre Point at Tottenham Court Road marks a truly massive milestone for us.”
