The musician, real name Stephen Manderson, will open the restaurant on the city’s Byres Road in the first quarter of 2026.
Green says his new brand is designed to ‘disrupt the fast food market’ but is yet to reveal details of the menu.
PG Fast Food is understood to be a partnership between Green and Hero Brands, which also supports fried chicken brand Sides from YouTube stars The Sidemen.
This is not the first time the rapper has showed his interest in food. During the Covid lockdowns of 2020 he collaborated with chef friend Gizzi Erskine on the ‘Giz & Green’s Monday Night Fakeaway’ Instagram series that saw the pair show their followers how to recreate classic takeaway dishes at home.
The duo later created pizza kits and also dishes for restaurants that included a Sleezey’n’Bisquey Mac and Cheese available at Burger & Lobster’s London restaurants.
PG Fast Food is expected to open at the end of January.
