Gordon Ramsay is set to open his first fine dining restaurant in the UK outside of London in more than two decades, with a new venture planned at Fairmont Cheshire, The Mere, this summer.

Gordon Ramsay Restaurants Global has announced a new partnership with Fairmont Cheshire that will see the restaurant group launch Gordon Ramsay at The Mere.

The venue is set to be the hotel’s signature dining destination when the property relaunches later this year.

The opening marks Ramsay’s first fine dining restaurant outside London since Amaryllis, which operated at One Devonshire Gardens between 2001 and 2004 before closing.

Gordon Ramsay at The Mere will deliver flavour-led cuisine, with a concept developed specifically for the setting of the Cheshire resort.

The launch forms part of a major transformation of the property, formerly known as The Mere Golf Resort & Spa, which is currently undergoing a multi-million-pound refurbishment and expansion ahead of its relaunch as Fairmont Cheshire, The Mere.
