South East London sandwich brand Mondo Sando is launching MONDO TO GO, a takeaway-focused site in Deptford in April.

Co-founded by Jack Macrae and Viggo Blegvad, the new site will be a grab-and-go concept with indoor ordering space and outdoor seating for 50.

It will serve signature sandwiches, including the Mondo Frango, Mondo Combo and Everything Cutlet, as well as sides such as House Pickles and Latkes.

Deptford-only sandwiches will also be available that have not featured at Cafe Mondo or The Grove House Tavern.

Drinks will include pints, slushies, and a rotating range of house sodas and lemonades.

The space, designed by Tom Cummings, who also designed Cafe Mondo, will feature retro caff and diner influences, the brand’s primary colour palette, and a small exhibit from the Museum of Stones.

The Deptford site follows Cafe Mondo, which opened in 2024, pub residencies, and a permanent kitchen at The Grove House Tavern.

Delivery will be available via the brand’s website and Uber Eats.

Opening weekend will include 50% off food from Friday 10th to Sunday 12th April.
