Senza Fondo will open its first site outside London in early April with the launch of Senza Fondeli, an all-day restaurant deli in Tunbridge Wells.

Located at 50 The Pantiles, the 90-cover site marks the second location of the Italian-American concept founded by Joe Worthington, whose Shoreditch restaurant is known for its all-you-can-eat lasagna format.

Senza Fondeli is a partnership between Worthington and Charlie Sweet, founder of the mobile bar business The Cocktail Social.

The concept builds on the original Senza Fondo brand while evolving into a coffee-to-cocktails, day-to-night model combining restaurant, bar, and deli retail.

The menu will feature grab-and-go focaccia sandwiches; salads; freshly prepared pasta dishes including cacio e pepe, carbonara, and stuffed tortellini; alongside charcuterie, cicchetti, antipasti; and the brand’s signature bottomless lasagna every Tuesday. Classic lasagna will also be available for eat-in and takeaway daily.

Drinks will span speciality coffee, signature cocktails and a curated wine list.

Senza Fondeli will also include a deli retail element, stocking local and Mediterranean produce such as meats from Old Spot Butchery, cheeses, pantry staples and takeaway wine.

The interiors, designed by NYC-based Yakka Studio, draw inspiration from traditional Italian trattorias and Italian-American restaurants, with natural wood panelling and communal-style seating.

The venue will host a live music programme curated by local musician and event organiser Charlotte Lubbock.

“Tunbridge Wells has a strong independent hospitality scene, and we see a clear opportunity for a premium but accessible all-day concept at The Pantiles,” says Sweet.

Senza Fondeli allows us to evolve the Senza Fondo brand while introducing a more drinks-led and retail-driven model tailored to the town.”

Worthington adds: “This marks the first step in expanding the Senza Fondo universe beyond London.

“Tunbridge Wells offers the right mix of community and destination appeal for our next phase of growth.”

Senza Fondeli will be open Tuesday to Sunday, from 11am to 11pm
