Bar des Prés Mayfair is moving from its current location on Albemarle Street to South Audley Street.

Launched in 2021 by top French chef Cyril Lignac, the restaurant serves a high-end Franco–East Asian menu.

Dishes on the current menu include crunchy crab and avocado galette; Madras curry; Label Rouge salmon with avocado, jalapeño and sriracha California roll; marinated sea bass with yuzu, dry miso and rocoto; and beef gyoza with ginger and soy.

The new South Audley Street site is set to open early next month, with interiors designed by Lázaro Rosa Violán Studio.

The space combines marble and polished wood with embroidered textiles and warm-toned walls, alongside a palette of deep reds and blues.

Design details reference both French and East Asian influences, with a layout that transitions into more private dining areas.

A separate space, The Salon at Bar des Prés, will be located behind the main restaurant and used for private dining. It can accommodate up to 30 guests across three tables or 22 on a single table, with a semi-private option for up to 12.

“I am incredibly proud and excited for the new site on South Audley Street. London has always been a very special place for Bar des Prés, especially as it was the first location we opened outside France,” Lyric says.

“With South Audley Street, we wanted to create something that feels both familiar and new, a space where guests can enjoy the energy of the original, while discovering a different expression of the cuisine, the cocktails and the design. Whilst we bring the same excellent quality that we are known for, it feels like a new beginning, which we are excited for. We look forward to seeing our loyal guests and welcoming new ones.”

Lignac trained with Alain Passard at Arpège in Paris and now runs several restaurants in the French capital, including Le Chardenoux, Aux Prés and Bar des Prés.
