On Monday Restaurant held its annual National Restaurant Awards at Magazine in London. Recognised as one of the key events in the restaurant calendar, the event hosted more than 750 chefs, restaurateurs and industry luminaries, who gathered to celebrate excellence in the sector.
Bouchon Racine was named the UK’s Best Restaurant at the 2026 National Restaurant Awards, taking the top spot from last year’s winner, The Ritz, while other winners included Adam Byatt, who was named Restaurateur of the Year, Simon Rogan, who received the Outstanding Industry Contribution Award, and Nieves Barragán Mohacho, who was named Chef of the Year
Other individual awards went to Impala chef Meedu Saad, who was named Chef to Watch, while the Trailblazer Award was presented to Shwen Shwen founder Maria Bradford.
