Market Place Food Hall has announced that it will launch what it describes as the UK’s first train station-based food hall this autumn.

Set in the heart of Victoria station and spanning 5,000 sq ft, the new venue will have space for over 200 guests and bring together 10 F&B concepts alongside live sports screenings.

The opening is set to join the existing – and similarly named - Market Halls food hall located just a stone’s throw from the station.

At the centre of the new Market Place venue will be a bar serving craft beers, cocktails and premium drinks alongside a mix of street food concepts spanning international flavours with the option to mix and match dishes from multiple traders.

Community engagement will play a key role in the venue’s launch and long-term strategy, with plans to work closely alongside local businesses, residents, and organisations to establish Market Place Food Hall as a ‘central part of Victoria’s social landscape’.

“Victoria is one of London’s most exciting and fast evolving districts, making it the perfect home for our newest Market Place Food Hall venue,” says Blake Henderson, managing director for Market Place Food Hall.

“We’re creating far more than a place to eat, we’re building a destination where people can discover incredible food, watch live sports, meet friends, celebrate occasions and be part of a thriving local community.

“Our vision has always been to champion independent food businesses while creating memorable experiences that bring people together.

“With an exciting mix of traders, vibrant bar offering and a packed calendar of live sporting action, Market Place Food Hall Victoria will deliver something truly special for the area.”

Since launching in 2020, Market Place has established venues in St Paul’s, Vauxhall, Harrow and Peckham, as well as its newest flagship location in Leicester Square.
