Ello Group - which is also behind other major loyalty programmes including Coffee Club and Vue Pass - says it helps businesses build engagement and brand affinity across dining, coffee, pizza delivery, cinema and days out.
The facility will support Ello Group as it looks to evolve under the ownership of Dragonpass, the global travel and lifestyle rewards platform which acquired the business at the end of last year.
Tastecard and Gourmet Society are both major sources of restaurant discounts, with deals typically focused on 2-for-1 dining offers or 25% off the total bill.
Both tend to work with larger restaurant groups.
The Huddersfield-based rewards and loyalty platform provider was advised on the funding deal by law firm Gordons.
Gordons banking partner Ben Roden, supported by solicitor Gresa Bakolli, acted on behalf of Ello Group.
Commenting on securing the financing, Matt Peters, chief financial officer at Ello Group, said:
“This is an important step for Ello Group as we continue to support our growth plans under Dragonpass ownership.
“Gordons was a great partner to work with throughout the transaction, providing trusted advice and support to help ensure the process ran smoothly from start to finish.”
