La Petite Maison (LPM) will launch a spin-off café concept at five star Knightsbridge hotel The Lanesborough this September.

The year-long residency will serve as a preview of Le Café LPM, a permanent concept that is due to open in Dubai later this year.

The concept is described as an evolution of the La Petite Maison experience, bringing “the glamour, warmth and joie de vivre of the Côte d’Azur” to an all-day café format centred around coffee, pâtisserie and Riviera-inspired dining.

The venue will transition from a daytime café into an evening neighbourhood destination.

The daytime menu will include burrata tartine with tomatoes and basil, Croque Monsieur with veal ham and Comté cheese, and Caesar salad.

Evening dishes will include tuna carpaccio with pickled almonds and truffle dressing, grilled octopus with paprika, potatoes and chickpeas, crispy fried squid with saffron aioli, and a sirloin steak baguette served with gaufrette potatoes.

A rotating selection of signature pastries will sit alongside Riviera-inspired desserts, including Crème Caramel and LPM’s signature Dark Chocolate Mousse with sea salt.

Designed to reflect the charm of Riviera cafés and sunlit pâtisseries, the space will feature a bright and elegant aesthetic.

La Petite Maison was founded in Nice by Nicole Rubi.

Arjun Waney acquired the international rights to the brand in the mid-2000s and opened the first London restaurant in 2007.

The group now operates nine restaurants across locations including London, Dubai, Miami and Hong Kong.

Nicolas Budzynski, chief executive of LPM Restaurant & Bar, says: “We are delighted to introduce the Le Café LPM pop-up at The Lanesborough in London, an iconic hotel that perfectly reflects the sophistication and elegance behind the concept. London holds a special place in our story as the city where La Petite Maison first began in 2007, making it the ideal setting to unveil this new chapter of the brand.”
