The Madrid-founded company says the launch follows rapid international growth, with 43 sites already operating and more than 270 franchise agreements signed across 26 countries. Recent openings include Madrid, Paris, New York, Miami and Mexico City, while sites are also planned for Hong Kong and São Paulo.
As with all the brand’s locations, the London location will produce MYKA’s signature Greek frozen yoghurt fresh on site each day using artisanal Greek yoghurt and premium goat’s milk kefir. The company says its proprietary recipe is designed to retain the characteristics of traditional Greek yoghurt while offering a frozen dessert that is high in protein and naturally contains probiotics.
In addition to its original Greek frozen yoghurt, the site will offer two seasonal flavours that change monthly, alongside a selection of toppings including handmade crumbles, fruit compotes, granolas and baklava. Customers will also be able to customise their desserts using the brand’s signature bases.
MYKA, which was founded by Natalia Morales and Javier Ezquerro in 2023, says it chose London because of its reputation as ‘one of the world’s leading food capitals’, with St Christopher’s Place selected for its ‘independent character’, food offering and village-style atmosphere, which the company said aligns with its Mediterranean-inspired concept.
The company says the London opening represents another milestone in its ambition to become the world’s leading Greek frozen yoghurt brand.
