The new restaurant will bring the brand’s Californian-inspired menu to East London, serving a range of tacos, sides and drinks.
The menu blends Mexican and Californian influences, with taco options including the OG soft shell with pickled cabbage, salsa roja, avocado crema, onion and coriander; crispy birria with mozzarella, onion, coriander and beef consommé; and the vampiro, a hard-shell taco with melted cheese and beef consommé. Fillings include birria beef, anchiote lamb and pineapple jerk chicken.
Alongside tacos, the menu will feature tortilla chips, puffed pork scratchings and house-made guacamole, while drinks include margaritas, mezcal, lager and soft drinks.
The new location will continue to offer £3 birria tacos on Tuesdays and a daily offer of four tacos and a margarita for £16.
Founded by Graham Bradbury in 2023, the business began as a street food pop-up before opening its first permanent location in Brixton Village Market. It has since expanded with sites in Notting Hill and Kilburn, with Spitalfields becoming its fourth location.
“We started Two Twins Tacos with the idea that proper tacos should be fast, affordable and full of flavour,” says Bradbury.
“For us, tacos should be accessible to everyone, not just certain groups - it’s about big flavour, good energy and making great food reachable to all.
“Spitalfields is a huge step for us, as it is one of London’s best food destinations, and we are excited to bring our Brixton-born, California-inspired taco energy to a new crowd.”
