The independently owned operator has signed a lease on a site in Tavistock Street within the Shaftesbury Capital estate. Scheduled to open in early 2027, the restaurant will be KIBOU’s largest to date, with capacity for 210 covers.
The signing follows what KIBOU describes as its strongest trading year on record, with double-digit year-on-year revenue growth that it attributes to continued investment in its team and guest experience.
The Covent Garden restaurant will add to KIBOU’s existing portfolio of sites in Battersea, Cambridge, Cheltenham, Clifton (Bristol), Oxford and Solihull. A seventh restaurant is also due to open in Birmingham this autumn.
Funding for the Covent Garden development has been supported by HSBC UK.
