Blunt, who also owns Chelsea’s The Fox and Pheasant pub, has taken ownership of the pub alongside Toby Milne, who will oversee the day-to-day operation of the business.
Situated close to St Peter’s Square on the Hammersmith–Chiswick border, The Carpenter’s Arms is a 19th-century neighbourhood pub that was acquired by Wren Pubs in July 2024. During the group’s ownership, the property underwent a sensitive refurbishment that included improvements to the main bar, first-floor private dining room and private garden, which the brand says contributed to sales doubling over the past two years.
The deal expands Blunt’s presence in the London pub sector following his purchase of The Fox and Pheasant in Chelsea in 2018.

In March 2026, Wren Pubs announced the purchase of 7 Sloane Square, the latest addition to the portfolio, with further details to be announced in due course.
