The three-year deal marks the first time the estate has outsourced its food and beverage offer and will see the two businesses work together to expand dining across more dayparts and throughout the year.
Changes at Rows & Vine, which launched in 2022, are already underway.
The 120-cover restaurant, which spans three pavilions and a rooftop terrace, has introduced morning opening for the first time, serving barista-made coffee and pastries.
The venue has also launched a brunch menu featuring dishes including shakshuka with toasted focaccia, ChalkStream trout with poached eggs and French toast with mixed berries and crème fraîche.
Company of Cooks has also introduced a new lunch menu centred on seasonal small plates, sharing boards and Ridgeview wine pairings, while retaining the restaurant’s Sunday roasts and wine flights.
A children’s menu and family-focused vineyard activities have also been added.
Dan Thennakoon, operations director at Company of Cooks, said: “We’re delighted to partner with Ridgeview to develop the food and drink offer at this beautiful location. We’re wasting no time in expanding the offer with the introduction of morning dining and coffee, and we’re excited to continue building on that in the months ahead.”
Matt Gayler, chief operating officer at Ridgeview Wine Estate, added: “Company of Cooks shares our commitment to quality, sustainability and showcasing local and seasonal produce, alongside creating exceptional visitor experiences. We’re excited to continue developing Rows & Vine and our hospitality offer at Ridgeview.”
Founded in 1995, with its first bottles produced in 2000, Ridgeview has played a key role in establishing the reputation of English sparkling wine. The winery is based in Ditchling, within the South Downs National Park.
Company of Cooks is the visitor attractions and cultural venues division of contract catering giant CH&CO.
Its portfolio includes the Royal Opera House, Southbank Centre, Historic Royal Palaces, the Old Royal Naval College and Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew.
