The new Scran+ Roadie will join founder Chris Mears’s original venture Scran+ Roadie Saltmarket in central Glasgow.
Located within Frasers Plus Braehead Shopping Centre in Glasgow, the venue will form part of the 30,000 ft² park, offering 80-covers, its own bakery, and a mezzanine floor overlooking the restaurant.
The menu will offer favourites from the Saltmarket location, including eggs Stornoway, shawarma wraps, and New York-style pizzas. Cakes and sourdough bread will be baked in-house by Chrisy Quinn with the restaurant having its own signature coffee supplied by The Roasting Project.
The venue will also offer a kids menu including, pancakes, fruit, yoghurt and homemade granola for brunch, as well as pizza slices and chicken tenders. Drinks will include a blueberry slushie, ‘packed with antioxidants’, served in SuperPark’s signature purple colour.
“What an opportunity for us to provide the food and drink offering at this incredible new SuperPark which Glasgow is fortunate to be getting before any other city in the UK,” says Mears.
“We’d like to thank all our existing loyal customers in Glasgow for helping us build the Scran+ Roadie brand, which has created its own distinctive style over the past eight years.
“We give you dishes that you know and love. We’re putting all of this, and more, into this new second venue.
“Too often cafes in family visitor attractions fall short of expectations. This won’t happen here.
“Enjoying the food in the café is an important part of the overall SuperPark experience.”
‘Scran’, the first incarnation of the concept, debuted in 2018 on Alexandra Parade before moving to London Road in 2022. After Mears teamed up with management solution provider WORQ Group, he evolved the brand into Scran+ Roadie at Saltwater in 2025.
Jonathan Doherty, managing director of SuperPark Glasgow, adds: “Scran+ Roadie is the ideal partner to provide a quality dining experience at SuperPark Glasgow.
“It’s a brand that has a fantastic reputation for value for money, for quality, and, as Chris says, for providing food that everybody enjoys.”
“This new restaurant will be a beautiful space where you can refresh and refuel after all the fun of SuperPark.”
SuperPark, founded in Finland in 2012 , is a global indoor activity park operator which has expanded to the Middle East, Asia, Australia and now for the first time the UK.
