The Dear Jackie name will be retained, with the restaurant to trade as Beefbar at Dear Jackie.
Set to launch on 10 September, the concept will take over both the hotel’s subterranean restaurant and ground-floor sister bar, with ‘bespoke new interiors’ and a redesigned terrace also planned.
The move follows the closure of Le Petit Beefbar in Chelsea earlier this year after around five years’ trading.
Founded by Monaco-based entrepreneur Riccardo Giraudi, Beefbar launched in Monte Carlo in 2005 with the ambition of ‘reimagining the traditional steakhouse through a contemporary, fashion-forward lens’.
Over the past two decades, the brand has expanded to international destinations including Edinburgh, Paris, Milan, Mykonos and New York.
Broadwick Soho is an independently owned luxury hotel that opened in 2023.
Conceived by owner Noel Hayden and a group of founding friends, it was designed by Martin Brudnizki.
Dear Jackie is named after and inspired by Hayden’s mother, Jackie, whose bold style, warmth and love of bringing people together helped shape the restaurant’s identity.
Its interiors - which were also designed by Brudnizki - take their cues from ‘the glamour and romance of Italy’.
The partnership came about through a friendship between Giraudi and Hayden and brings together two family-led businesses.
“When choosing a home for Beefbar’s new UK flagship, I wanted to find a place with real soul,” says Giraudi.
“Having known Noel and the Broadwick Soho team, this felt like a very natural partnership. For me, a restaurant is never just about the food – it’s the flavours, the energy, the design and all the small details that create an emotion.
“Dear Jackie at Broadwick Soho immediately felt right. It has a creativity and spirit that naturally fits with Beefbar, and gives us the freedom to be playful with the menu while creating an experience that I hope people will remember.”
