Kelly Richardson has worked within the now six-strong business since 2018 and has ‘played a central part in shaping its direction’ alongside founders Monika Linton and Ratnesh Bagdai.
As part of his new role, he will also oversee Brindisa Tapas’s three-strong spin-off brand, Bar Kroketa.
The appointment forms part of a broader programme of investment and evolution across the group’s leadership, culture and guest experience. It follows the recent appointment of Adrian Castro as beverage director, with further announcements set to follow.
“Brindisa has always been about the integrity of Spanish food and the people and producers behind it,” Linton says. “Kelly shares this belief completely. This newly created role gives the business clarity, energy and momentum while continuing to nurture the long-standing collaborative spirit of our teams.”
Richardson adds: “Brindisa is a business I care about deeply, and I’m proud to help lead it into its next era. Our focus is on excellence and consistency across every site, investing in our teams, and continuing to champion the very best of Spanish food and drink for our guests.”
Brindisa Tapas was founded in Borough Market in 2004 following the success of Linton’s Spanish food wholesale business.
It has since launched sites in Battersea, South Kensington, London Bridge, Soho and Richmond.
Founded in Soho in 2022, Bar Kroketa has expanded to The City and Marylebone.
