The chefs will prepare a multi-course menu for guests showcasing the ‘creativity, precision and ambition of British gastronomy’, with wines and champagne served alongside.
The line-up includes Clare Smyth, president of Bocuse d’Or UK and chef-patron of Core by Clare Smyth; Alex Rothnie of L’Enclume; Marco Zampese of Hélène Darroze at The Connaught; Jean-Philippe Blondet of Alain Ducasse at The Dorchester; Daniel Stucki of The Lecture Room and Library at Sketch; and Kim Ratcharoen of Restaurant Gordon Ramsay.
They will be joined by Team UK candidate Oliver McGeorge and commis Stella Harris, who are preparing for the Bocuse d’Or World Final in Lyon in January.
Funds raised from the gala will go towards Team UK’s competition campaign, supporting its training and preparation ahead of the World Final.
The standard President’s Gala Dinner ticket is priced at £795, while the President’s Experience ticket, limited to 24 people, costs £1,575 and includes additional benefits such as a private chef meet-and-greet and preferred seating.
“The President’s Gala is a genuinely unique evening,” says Adam Wing, chairman of Bocuse d’Or.
“To have this calibre of chefs come together in one kitchen, for one night, is something guests simply wouldn’t ordinarily have the opportunity to experience.
“But what makes the evening particularly special is its purpose.
“Every ticket helps us give Oliver, Stella and the wider team the support they need as they prepare to represent the UK in Lyon.
“We want to build a Team UK capable of competing with the very best culinary nations in the world, and the support we receive through the Gala is an important part of making that possible.”
Founded in 1987 by French chef Paul Bocuse, the Bocuse d’Or takes place every two years in Lyon and brings teams from around the world together to compete before a live international jury. Team UK is led by president Clare Smyth and chairman Adam Wing.
