Chaiiwala has launched a digital loyalty platform that allows customers to earn stamps on purchases and redeem free food and drinks.

Called Chaiiwala Rewards, it is available through the Indian street food brand’s website, with customers receiving a stamp for every eligible purchase.

Members can unlock free food and drink items at milestones between five and 15 stamps, while customers who collect 15 stamps within a year will achieve Chaii Legend status, giving them access to free drink upgrades, selected toppings, and syrups.

“Our customers are at the heart of Chaiiwala, and this platform is about making the whole experience simpler and more rewarding,” says Sohail Ali, Chaiiwala co-founder.

“This is also an important step in how we build relationships with our customers. We are looking at how we can make every stage of the customer experience as simple and seamless as possible, from how customers place their order and how quickly they receive their food to the quality of our products and service.

“Chaiiwala Rewards brings these elements together, making the experience simpler while recognising loyalty in a way that feels valuable and unmistakably Chaiiwala.”

Chaiiwala Rewards comes at a time when restaurant brands are continuing to make their rewards schemes more sophisticated. Earlier this month fried chicken brand Popeyes launched its first rewards scheme, and says it received 100,000 signs ups in the first week.
