London claimed two places on the ranking, with Three Sheets in Soho listed at number 73 and Scarfes Bar at number 77, alongside Edinburgh’s Panda & Sons (pictured), which came in at number 72.
The extended list (see image below for rankings) includes bars from 34 cities worldwide with 13 new bars including first-time entries for Accra, Dublin, Istanbul, Shenzhen, San José and Istanbul.
There are 13 new entries in this year’s ranking across Accra, Athens, Bangkok, Dublin, Goa, Hong Kong, Istanbul, Melbourne, Mexico City, San José, Shenzhen and Singapore.
For the fourth consecutive year, the US is the most represented country, with five bars across Chicago, New Orleans and New York Europe has the largest representation, with 18 bars spanning Paris, Athens, Dublin and Oslo.
Asia features 16 bars, including four from Hong Kong.

The countdown of the list of The 50 Best Bars 2026, sponsored by Perrier, will be broadcast live to a global audience at 8pm Milan time on 7 October 2026.
