Bottles Group Ltd and its controlling shareholder BBME Ltd have both appointed Ben Stanyon and Anthony Davidson of Opus Restructuring as joint liquidators.
A notice to Bottles Group’s creditors gives the company’s principal trading address as Bottles at 67 Brushfield Street, Old Spitalfields Market.
A separate notice for BBME, which trades as BeBeMe, lists wine bars at Mercato Metropolitano in Elephant & Castle and Mayfair.
The current trading status of the three venues has yet to be confirmed.
BBME took control of Bottles Group in June 2025, when founders Franco Mancini and Daniele Marano ceased to be persons with significant control.
Julio Bruno Castellanos became Bottles Group’s director. BeBeMe announced that October that the Spitalfields restaurant had become part of its business.
Bottles opened in Spitalfields in 2018 as a collaboration between Mancini and Marano, founders of Bottles & Battles at Mercato Metropolitano, and Italian operator Sood Family.
The pair later opened a Bottles site in Chelsea, but it has since closed with Volta do Mar now occupying its former Draycott Avenue premises.
The Bottles Group website still lists the Chelsea restaurant and Bottles & Battles at Mercato Metropolitano but more recent BeBeMe listings identify the Elephant & Castle wine bar as BeBeMe.
